Hare Krishna! Please accept the blessing of Lord Sri Krishna. All glories to Srila Prabhupada. All glories to Guru & Gauranga.

Vedic literatures inform us that visiting the holy places where the Supreme Lord performs His divine pastimes fetches us an enormous spiritual benefit. As these places, which are also called Dham (Abode of the Lord), are spiritually very potent on account of the Supreme Lord personally residing there, any spiritual activity like Chanting (japa), Charity, Annadana, Sacrifices & Pujas, etc. yields multifold results in our life.

“Hare Krishna Char Dham Yatra” is very glad to inform you that this summerand winter a spiritual tour is being conducted to the most auspicious Jagannathpuri, Jagannath Ratha Yatra, Lingaraja Temple, Rajarani Temple, Mukteshwar Temple, Konark, Mayapu, Kalkata Birth Place of His GraceA.C. Bhakthivedanta Swami Prabhupada. The yatra will be held in the month of January February June July November December. This will be definitely a very memorable spiritual tour in which we will visit many places of spiritual & historical importance.

About Jagannath

Jagannath Temple is one of the most renowned as well as the biggest temples of Orissa. Established in the 12th century, the temple is dedicated to Lord Jagannath (Lord Krishna), Lord of the Universe. The credit for laying the foundation of the Jagannath temple of Puri goes to Raja Ananta Varman Chodaganga Dev. The temple is located at a distance of 60 km from Bhubaneswar, on the coast of Bay of Bengal, and is greatly revered by the devotees following the Vaishnava traditions.

There is an interesting legend associated with the Jagannatha temple of Puri. It is said that King Indradyumna, the ruler of the territory, saw Lord Jagannath in his dreams and following the Lord's wishes, as told to him in his dreams, he got the Jagannath Puri Temple constructed. Situated in the heart of the holy city, the temple is visited by devotees from farthest corners of India as well as the world and also first time in the history of the world by the grace of his divine grace A.C. Bhakthivedanta Swami Prabhupada estalbished the temple of Lord Jagannath in every town and village of western world cilibarating ratha Yatra fastival by ISKCON this is only murcy of A.C. Bhakthivedanta Swami Prabhupada and murcy Lord of the univers Jagannath.Lord jagannath is showing the world that he is universal Lord He loves every one no cast, no grid, no country lord Jagannathis Sible of Love that is way He is the Lord of Univers Jagathnath mean Jagannath. It exudes splendor and its tall spires lend it a magnificent aura. The walls are embellished with exquisite carvings.

The pillars that provide support to the temple are adorned with pictures depicting the life of Lord Krishna. In the list of the most splendid monuments of Orissa, Jagannath temple occupies a supreme position. One of the most popular attractions of the Jagannatha Temple of Puri comprises of its Rath Yatra that is organized every year. It is basically a chariot festival, where idols of Lord Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra and Goddess Subhadra, the main deities of Srimandir, are taken to the Gundicha temple in bejeweled chariots and are brought back to the mandir in the same way.

About Konark

The Sun god worshipped in Ark Kshetra is also called Konark. In 'Brahma Purana' the Sun God in Ark-kshetra has been described as Konaditya. So it is evident that the place where the Kona aditya (or Kona-arka, the Sun god) was worshipped was also popularly called Konark
It is described in Purusottam Mahatmya that Lord Vishnu after killing the demon Gayasur, to commemorate the glory of his victory, placed his Sankha (cronch) in Puri, Chakra (disc) in Bhubaneswar, Gada (mace) in Jajapur and Padma (lotus) in Konark and they were later known as Sankha Kshetra, Chakra Kshetra, Gada Kshetra and Padma Kshetra respectively.

This corner on the east  sea coast houses the ruins of a temple, exquisitely built to resemble a gigantic chariot with impeccably carved wheels , columns and panels. It stands as a mute reminder of the times when Orissan architecture has reached its pinnacle.

In the republic of India , in the state of West Bengal, nestled amidst the rice fields of the Navadwip region, in the district of Nadia, is Sri Mayapur Dham. The ancient  name of Mayapur refers to both the spiritual and the material energies of the divine. Situated where the sacred Ganges meets the Jalangi River, this holy place is itself a point of confluence, a place of extraordinary encounters. Here, eternity flows through the present, matter transforms into spirit, and humanity reconnects with God.

About Mayapur Dham and Chaitanya Mahaprabhu

Today, Sri Mayapur appears to be a small pilgrimage center, but this belies its majestic history. One thousand years ago, the renowned scholar, author, and ruler, Ballal Sena, established the capital of a great dynasty on the banks of the Ganges. This site was previously the original town of Navadwip, a historic center of learning whose reputation rivaled that of Benares.

It was here in 1486 that Sri Chaitanya was born. Based on Vedic scriptural references, He was recognized by His followers not only as a saint, but as a divine incarnation—the Golden Avatar. Sri Chaitanya rejected the social conventions of His time that deviated from Vedic teachings and restricted all from participating in spiritual activities. His exuberant egalitarianism inspired people from all walks of life to experience the highest spiritual state, pure love of God, and to share it freely with others, regardless of caste, race, or creed.

Thus began India's great devotional renaissance—the widespread chanting of the names of God, a non-sectarian practice that makes spirituality the central goal of human life, and is easy, joyous, and accessible to everyone. India's tradition of bhakti, devotion, owes everything to Sri Chaitanya. His words and example inaugurated a movement of reform that has had a profound transformative effect on the life of India and the world.

At the end of the nineteenth century, the visionary Srila Bhaktivinode Thakur embarked on an organized effort to bring Mayapur and Sri Chaitanya's teachings to the rest of the world. His mission was the development of Sri Chaitanya's birthplace, not just as a historical site, but as a dham, a spiritual abode that would provide shelter and enlightenment to an India whose ancient culture was under attack by the British colonial presence. His son, Srila Bhaktisiddhantha Saraswati Thakur, continued to develop Mayapur, and instructed his followers to share the teachings of Lord Chaitanya with the Western world as well.

His wishes went largely unfulfilled until the 1960s, when His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami, later known as Srila Prabhupada, founded the movement known as the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON). Within a decade he brought Sri Mayapur to the attention of the world, establishing Krishna Consciousness in cities on virtually every continent. He then returned to Mayapur to continue the work of his predecessors. He envisioned a wondrous exhibition of the spiritual and material universes, an astonishing temple for the cultivation of religious experience and spiritual knowledge, and a city dedicated to education, culture, and community.
